Whereas (and I can't vouch for it, but I've been told by speakers of other languages) less common languages have much poorer translations. Most sites with good translations are so because they've hired someone to go through and "internationalize" the site. There is no babel fish or silver bullet for the web. Until you have the time (or a devoted assistant) the translation tools are as good as you can get with little effort. Translation is a difficult thing, because as you have noticed most services just are not that good, and the languages that are better, for example Spanish or even Russian, are ones that have more speakers within the programming community.
