Dewey Digital Teaching Award

In recognition of the ways that teaching has been transformed by the innovative use of new technologies, especially by doctoral student adjuncts and teaching fellows, the New Media Lab is offering $500 awards to Graduate Center students whose digital projects at the lab relate to any aspect of teaching with technology. This work may involve the creation of a website, teaching tool, app, database, or resource, or the critical analysis and modification of an existing digital teaching tool or resource. The award will not support research about pedagogy or teaching that results in a traditional research paper.

The award requires no additional NML work time and the funds may be used in any way the recipient deems appropriate to support the student’s research.
