Pamela Thielman

Pamela Kierejczyk Thielman is a PhD student in theatre who researches the history of scenic design. Her work is primarily concerned with the circulation of scenic designers around Europe during the seventeenth century and proposes scenography as a site for the investigation of cultural exchange. She is also pursuing a certificate in Interactive Technology and Pedagogy at the Graduate Center to develop her interest in integrating technology into classroom pedagogy. She has taught at Baruch College is currently a Writing Across the Curriculum Fellow at New York City College of Technology.

Pamela holds BFA in Drama from Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and an MFA in Dramaturgy and Script Development from Columbia University School of the Arts. As a theatre practitioner she has worked as an actor and director, and she continues to be active as a dramaturg.
