Joe Kirchhof joined ASHP/CML and the New Media Lab in October 2013. At the NML, he is an advisor to students and will be available to consult on technical and conceptual aspects of digital projects. Previously Joe worked at Columbia University’s Institute for the Study of Human Rights, where he coordinated web and other technology and provided program support. Joe has built a number of websites, including the Guantánamo Public Memory Project. Joe holds a Masters in American Studies from Columbia University. His studies emphasized urban history, especially relating to transit and planning. He received his Bachelors in Cultural Studies and Political Science from the University of Minnesota.
