Michelle Fisher is a doctoral student in Art History at the CUNY Graduate Center, and an Adjunct Lecturer at Parsons The New School For Design and Baruch College, New York. She worked as a contributor for BBC Radio Scotland and as an artist’s assistant for the sculptor Andy Goldsworthy before coming to New York to work at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, Independent Curators International (ICI), and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
She regularly writes for Art 21’s Open Enrollment series. Her research centers on social histories of architecture, contemporary art, museums, and the pedagogical turn.
