Urban Food Environments
Christine Caruso, Environmental Psychology
Urban Food Environments will be a companion website to my current student research project being conducted as a doctoral student in Environmental Psychology, which focuses on “local foods” and community supported agriculture (CSA). This website will serve as a resource for me to organize my work as I continue my data analysis and review of findings, search of the literature, and development of related ideas. Ideally, as this site develops it will reflect my process of working with the many facets of food studies, policy and environmental psychology. As this information is assembled and presented on this centralized site, it may also serve as a resource to others interested in food related issues that impact society as well as individuals in their everyday lives. Thus, this site may be of interest to both food scholars and lay people interested in theoretical, social, and political aspects of food, and provide a space for connecting and sharing ideas.
